Research & Analysis: Interviews with Egyptian students, freelancers, and startup founders highlighted the need for a local platform where both individuals and businesses can interact directly. Global platforms felt intimidating or overly formal. Key finding: users wanted a space where they could share updates like social media but still maintain professional credibility.

Information Architecture: Planned dual user roles: freelancers (showcasing skills, applying to opportunities) and brand owners (posting opportunities, sharing updates, building community). Designed IA around a posting feed, profile management, and engagement.

Wireframing & Prototyping: We designed low-fidelity wireframes to visualize the new layout and navigation, iteratively refining them based on user feedback. Afterward, we built a high-fidelity, interactive prototype to test the design.

Usability Testing: Tested with early users. Feedback confirmed that the posting and commenting feature made the platform feel alive, encouraging daily engagement. Users appreciated the division of roles but asked for clear labels to avoid confusion.

Visual Design & Style Guide: We developed a cohesive visual language for Lokify, including a bold color palette centered on purple, clean typography, and a modern icon set. A structured style guide was created to ensure consistency across the dashboard, profiles, and posting feed. This guide provides scalable components and rules that will maintain design clarity and brand identity in future updates.
